Humble Warrior Taekwon-Do

Spectator Fee of $5 will be collected at the door.  All spectator fees go to Powerful Purpose New Mexico to help students with expenses related to competition.

Coaches and children under 5 get in free

 

Power Breaking will be side kick for color belts and side kick plus a hand break for black belts.  

Flyover Kicking will be over a barrier hitting a hand held target

Sparring will be one 2 minute round for color belts and two 2 minute rounds for black belts, single elimination. 

Individual Patterns will be head to head competition with simultaneous performance

Team Patterns must consist of 3-5 members of any combination of male or female, or age.  Rank divisions will be White belt to Blue Stripe, Blue Belt to Black stripe, and all Black Belts. Teams will be bracketed based on the rank of the highest ranked member.

Black belts and higher color belts will be asked to assist in judging in order to ensure fairness and expeditiousness of the overall tournament.

Focus will be on courtesy.  Please instruct students on ring protocol and advise parents and coaches on appropriate conduct.  Aggressive, inappropriate or discourteous behavior may result in disqualification. Let's make this a great event for everyone!
